Julie is a Certified Nutrition Consultant and published researcher who earned her master’s degree in medical nutrition, with distinction, from Arizona State University. After struggling with her weight starting in her teens, she successfully achieved her weight loss goals by understanding her unique nutritional and biochemical needs. This transformative experience has fueled her passion for teaching others how to personalize their nutrition for metabolic health and effective weight management.
For over 20 years, Julie has specialized in complex neurological, digestive, and immune conditions, most notably autism. Her approach, based on the BioIndividual Nutrition® needs of each person, is backed by scientific research and extensive clinical experience.
Julie frequently presents at leading professional conferences in the US and abroad and is the co-founder of Nourishing Hope and the BioIndividual Nutrition Institute.
